studio-twig is an independent contemporary embroidery studio based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

We have a small private design studio.

We've been professionally designing and creating beautiful bespoke embroidery since 1996.

so far we've had the pleasure of working with:

Today we design and make gorgeous embroidered and printed home and garden textiles which you can buy directly from our shop. You can also commission your own bespoke textiles.

We wouldn't be happy tied to rigid production lines or with taking manufacture abroad.

Imposing tight deadlines on poorly paid staff in questionable working conditions goes deeply against the heart of studio-twig, for many, many reasons.

Instead, we have deliberately kept an intimate approach to the studio allowing us to work personally on every request with the flexibility to undertake orders from our studio collections and bespoke textile commissions as they arrive.
